Carpinteria Unified School District is planning to reopen several of its schools for in-person learning over the next few weeks, and drivers are asked to be extra alert, aware, and cautious during their morning and afternoon commutes. Please keep in mind that many students will be walking and bicycling to and from local campuses for the first time since schools closed last spring. CUSD is preparing to reopen its middle and high schools for in-person learning on Monday, March 29. Additional reopenings are expected to take place in the following two weeks as CUSD elementary the secondary schools transition from the hybrid model to full in-person instruction.
