Santa Barbara County will begin the reopening of specified, low-risk businesses on Friday, May 8. Information provided in Governor Newsom’s Executive Order N-60-20 provides guidance regarding the criteria and procedures with which Santa Barbara County is moving through Stage 2 of the Governor’s 4-Stage Process. A limited number of businesses will be able to reopen on May 8 with appropriate safeguards in place. 
Businesses permitted to reopen for curbside pick-up with safeguards include: Antique Stores, Book Stores, Clothing Stores, Florists, Home and Furnishing Stores. These businesses will be open for curbside pick-up only and must also maintain physical distancing protocols for staff and customers. Read the full press release at
