United Way of Santa Barbara County’s recently announced that applicants for Emergency Rental & Utility Assistance can reapply every three months for a maximum of 15 months of support. Eligible County of Santa Barbara residents must have experienced a loss of income due to the COVID-19 pandemic and be able to demonstrate the need for rental support. Upon application approval, eligible renter households can receive three-month rental assistance, up to $6,000 per household, as well as emergency utility payments.
