In accordance with State guidance, the City’s Parks & Recreation Department is working to reopen playgrounds that have been closed since last spring. Playground equipment will be cleaned before reopening, and signage will be installed to inform users of their responsibilities. These include wearing a mask, social distancing, respecting capacity limits, and not bringing food or beverages into the play area. The first playground scheduled for reopening is Monte Vista Park. El Carro, Memorial and Tomol Interpretive Area will follow shortly after. When using parks, please observe the posted responsibilities in order to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our community.
